Surfboards on Parade Raise $100,000

This past Saturday night the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach hosted Surfboards on Parade's "Night of A Million Waves" and was a huge success. The 28 custom boards that have been parading around the city for the past three months all went up for auction, and all were sold to the highest bidders. By the end of the night, over $100,000 was raised for skin cancer research at Hoag Hospital! The biggest bid of the evening went for the Robert August/John Van Hamersveld collaboration board celebrating the 50th Anniversary of The Endless Summer. A great evening in the Huntington Beach community and we're aleady looking forward to the next parade! For more info on the cause, check out Surfboards on Parade at http://surfboardsonparade.org/
