HB's Tim Reyes Eyes 2015 WCT (Again)

He's been off the tour for more than a couple years now, taking free surfing trips and spending a lot of time up north, as far away from the contest scene as possible. But this year Timmy Reyes got the itch to requalify for the ASP World Championship Tour and put his pedal to the metal. With another big Prime event in Brazil this week, the Oceano Santa Catarina Pro, and a few more to go in Hawaii, he's looking pretty good, too. He's currently sitting at #14 on the WQS rankings, just one spot beneath Brett Simpson, and is the second highest rated American surfer (save Hawaiians) on the 'QS. Considering his track record in Hawaii over the years, he might even jump up a few spots. But for now, consider him on Tour! Well done, Timmy! Well done.
