Kolohe Andino Scores Historic Cover of New Issue

San Clemente rat packer Kolohe Andino has scored the cover of the new issue of Ghetto Juice magazine, making him the most decorated Ghetto Juice coverboy of all time. The shot, taken by Tom Cozad at the Point in Newport Beach on Big Wednesday during Hurricane Marie, is Andino's third Ghetto Juice cover shot in the last four years. Which seems fitting, since Kolohe is the highest rated surfer from Orange County on the ASP World Tour. Kolohe had literally just stepped off the plane from competing in the Billabong Pro Tahiti when he got word that Newport Point was looking beyond epic. Kolohe, along with several other ASP / WCT surfers showed up and went to town on what would be one of the most memorable Newport sessions in history. Look for the new issue to hit core surf shops and make its debut at the Hurley Pro this week.
